Our society is increasingly relying on images in communication, therefore it is important to connect the right image to the task at hand. As a communicator, I am interested in how images tell stories. When looking at an image, take an extra moment to ask yourself, "What is the story?" Some visual stories are more apparent than others. As an artist, I seek emotional appeal. Factor in the technical aspects of photography such as ISO, aperture, exposure, light, processing, and composition, and we have a challenge before us.
